About Us

I'm Lucas and my passion for the world of plants began when I planted a pollinator garden in a local park in Miami. Later, I moved to Colorado and volunteered on an indigenous farm in Colorado and gained some knowledge on Aztec farming practices and traditions. Currently I am getting in touch with my Caribbean roots and volunteering at urban food forest projects in Miami with Finca Morada. But aside from that, I am just a dude on a spiritual journey finding my relationship to The Divine and Mother Earth.

 
I’m Isabella! As a budding ecologist, my love for nature runs deep. In advocating  for a world where all living beings can thrive, I’ve volunteered planting native trees and removing invasive species, as well as participating in coastal cleanups on our Miami shores. It brings me a sense of purpose to honor the natural world.
So why Star Joints? As someone who has experienced anxiety while smoking THC, I wanted to create something that offered a gentle relaxing effect without the drawbacks. With Lucas and I’s creation of Star Joints, we aim to inspire a deeper connection to nature, and a soft, harmonious way to unwind.
